First day commuting with the Burley Nomad...

was a huge success. The trip to work was pretty light, with only my Timbuk2 Laptop Messenger Bag, MountainSmith lumbar pack, and few odds and ends. The payoff for commuting with the trailer, however, came on the way home. We had our monthly IT meeting to discuss the state of various projects and we had La Paz catered in. There were a lot of leftovers and after everyone left without any interest in them, I collected a pan each of rice, beans, chips, and cheese enchaladas along with a smaller container of salsa. I was a bit worried about getting a mess in the trailer on the way home, so I wrapped everything in garbage bags before placing everything in the trailer. I was easily able to pack everything in the trailer and had no problems riding home with the load.
