We ended up just shy of 12 miles and rode the Zoo/Holmes Lake loop. She did quite well and was averaging ~12 mph most of the way. Hopefully she gets bitten by the bug and starts to understand my addiction.

Katie's Bike Ride
Katie and I went on a bike ride this evening while Katie's mom stayed home with the kids. Katie hasn't ridden a bike, other than around the block a few times, in over 8 years. I think her last bike ride involved some boy toy that she was trying to impress.
We ended up just shy of 12 miles and rode the Zoo/Holmes Lake loop. She did quite well and was averaging ~12 mph most of the way. Hopefully she gets bitten by the bug and starts to understand my addiction.
